Stealing For Charity Is Still Stealing - Linkshare?
Is stealing Okay if it’s for a charity? I don’t believe so and if someone was stealing from you for charity, I think you’d feel the same…
There is an interesting thread about linkshare over on ABestweb about a possible Linkshare subsidary using absolutely dispicable tactics to steal money from affiliates and give a “share” of it to charity.
I have no problem with affiliate toolbars as most of them don’t plant a cookie if another affiliate cookie is already present or an affiliate link is detected. However, in this case, the guys at linkshare have created a particularly slimey parasite. Some of their 211 Million heist could be yours!
The fine folks over on the forum have created some videos to show how it operates. I’m not a “guilty until proven innocent” kind of guy, but the Linkshare silence says a lot.
Is nothing sacred anymore?

That really sucks! That is absolutely not right. If they want to do charity they should take the money out of their own profit margins and not from their affiliate sales. I have never been a member with Linkshare and now I don’t think I ever will.
